Jasmine Sanfilippo

Psychotherapist (qualifying), BA

Jasmine Sanfilippo is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with a Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology, a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, and a postgraduate certificate in Autism and Behavioural Science.

Jasmine has a particular interest in working with individuals experiencing anxiety, panic, trauma, neurodivergence, self-criticism, and the challenges that can come with everyday life and major

life transitions. She is passionate about helping clients develop a deeper understanding of themselves, build effective coping strategies, and create meaningful change in their lives.

Jasmine takes a warm, collaborative, and individualized approach to therapy. She primarily draws from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT): Helping clients make space for difficult thoughts and emotions while identifying what matters most to them and taking

steps toward a meaningful life. Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR): A trauma-focused approach that can help individuals process difficult or distressing experiences that

continue to affect them in the present. Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT): Providing practical skills for managing intense

emotions, navigating relationships, tolerating distress, and responding to challenging situations more effectively.

Jasmine believes therapy is most effective when clients feel understood, respected, and actively involved in the process. She aims to create a space where clients can feel comfortable being

themselves, explore their experiences without judgment, and develop tools that can be applied to everyday life. Whether someone is navigating a specific challenge, adjusting to a major life transition, or simply feeling like things have become difficult to manage, Jasmine works alongside each client to identify their goals and find an approach that fits their individual needs.
