Ah...My Darn Heel Pain! (a self-taping protocol)

The reality with plantar fasciosis is that you can do all of the right "things" to manage it:

  • custom orthoses

  • orthopaedic footwear

  • stretches

  • rest

  • night splint

  • orthopaedic sandals around the house

and that horrible "stepping on glass"sensation may persist for months after taking action.


It's important to know that patience is the key to this condition, along with knowing that there's a difference between "pain that harms versus pain that just hurts". Plantar fasciosis is the latter - it hurts while you have it but it won't cause permanent disability.


Here is a protocol for using kinesiology tape to help with the symptoms.
